What is Popmundo?

Popmundo is an online game. There are no download requirements of any parts and you can play after a few easy steps.

Register – You have to create your account. You will choose your nickname and enter a valid address and information required. Be very careful about your email. If you type it wrong, you wont get an activation code which allows you to enter the game.

After you register and get your activation code, you can sign in. Then you will be asked to choose your sex and city you want to live in. Once you‘re done you will able to customize your avatar. The avatar is your character‘s picture in the game. You can also use a picture from the internet which you can link with your profile.

Popmundo is a game about music and hard work to become a star.

Useful game information

Main page- you can enter your page by clicking on Character

On the upper side of the page, there are the most important icons you need to understand. You can easily see them above your profile picture. I will shortly explain them all.

City – when you click on city, it shows you all the available locales of town which you can visit. Locales includes shops, restaurants, hospital, police station. Go and have a look, the list of available locales is pretty long.

Character – that takes you to your page that stores all the information about your character. Also all the interactions with other people will be stored here. You can also write your own game blog here once you purchase a VIP account.

Career- this is the most important page for you. You can create your band here. All your songs and information about concerts will be stored here.

Location – it will take you to the location where your character is right now and it provides you with all the information about the locale. It also allows you to see how many people are present.

Community – from here you can access all the forums and a magazine called It’s Pop. You will also find information about the best artists, bands and music charts. In this section you can also access the forum and a great help section provided by the creators of this online game.

Before we continue more about profile information, let’s talk about the game itself and all what you can do as a character.

Goal of the game – is to become a world wide selling artist. So basically, after you register into the game you will have to skill a lot. There are universities in each town which allows you to study the skills you desire. A faster way is buying books. You can learn all kinds of skills in the game. It‘s pointless to make a list of it all. Most likely I would say genre skills, music skills, stage skills, social skills.

When you learn such skills you will be able to tour and work on your music career.

My personal feelings about the game

I believe I am experienced player of Popmundo. It is a very favourite game among all kinds of people. The game is more about role playing and taking all the steps to achieve your goals. The first few days can be pretty boring as you cannot access the forum fully. When I started to play, it helped me to find nice people in game. They helped me a lot and showed me what to do. You can even role play relationships and marriages in a game. The Popmundo is unlimited.

There are 2 existing accounts.  First one is the Non VIP account and it allows you to do certain things which you would understand while playing a game. Then VIP account is great to have. You get so many extras such as:

Marriages- As VIP you can marry another player in game and have a kids.

Mobile phone – You can store your VIP friends there and call them everyday no matter where they are . That means they don‘t need to be in a same city to stay connected with you.

Company – you can buy and own companny in game such as clubs, shops, etc. Of course you cannot do it right away as you need a lot of money for that.

My character is VIP and I have to say everything is much easier. I can even send money to my friends in times of need. I can reach them on my phone but most likely, I am able to write my own IN GAME BLOG. That means I can share with everyone all I want to share with them so my character is more alive and involved in daily living.

What do I like about Popmundo?

 

I can be anyone. As a character in game I can fall in love with any guy I want. I can be a punk star or a pop artist. I can meet fabulous people around the world and get to know them in the game. The game is full of choices. It is only up to you what path you take.

Useful information

 

You are allowed to create only one account in the game. Running more than one account may put you in a risk of losing your accounts.

After 90 days of an existing account, a female character can get pregnant.

A good start in the game is to complete Mother’s wishes before you start your career.

First 16 – 19 days you get every update an experience points which are recommended to be put into your intelligence, so you will be able to study skills faster.

What to be aware of?

 

The game is a community game. There are players from all around the world. Some of them take the game too seriously. What does that mean? It means many people mix their real life with the game and act like the character. Basically, all that happens in game, they take too seriously and it may affect their real life. In the forums you can also find an abusive attitude of some players who find fun in attacking other players with words. So never give confidential info about your real life to any characters and always act like a character in the game. Some people may write you nasty emails in game which you can always report to admins.

The game is pretty much addictive so you have to be very careful. Always think that Popmundo is just a game and therefore do not let the game to run your real life.
