Handbags – for every woman it is the most important thing to have. Handbags are used in our everyday life and no woman could survive more than 10 minutes if they left home without it.

They hold everything that we need. Keys, phone, tissues, money,diary and our little secrets that help us through even the most difficult days of course Handbags are also a part of our costume for the day or for the evening on the town we buy a bag to match our shoes and coats and we all like to be a little different from our friends.

Origin of the handbag- Theorigin of handbags starts in medieval times, when handbags were carried mainly by men. Ruins were found with drawings of men with handbags tied around their waists. So when your man nags about your new handbag, tell him of their history. 

Middle age handbags- both genders  were found walking proudly with a handbag.  Handbags were used for travel. A special  use for handbags was found in  agriculture, Farmers used handbags to carry seeds. 

Handbags became popular with the ladies around the 18th century and every lady in the social calendar had to have at least one for each ball that they attended, at he ball handbags were mainly used for display but the ladies attending used them to hold their dance cards.

It wasn’t until early in the 20th century that the handbag became connected to hand luggage and women began depending on them to store the things that they may need when they were out of the home.

At this time handbags became more popular with the masses and most now came with inside pockets with zip fasteners.

If you are thin and tall.

Be aware of buying a small bag which will optically make you look bigger. The size is the key in your case. Medium sized handbags  or massive handbags would be the best for you.

If you are small.

Again, you have to think-If you are small you rather choose a small handbag

If you have a wide waist.

It would be in your interest to hide the problematic parts. Try to choose a bag which has a short strap, so the handbag ends up just under your arm.  That way optically your body looks shaped.

If you have a bigger chest.

Use a handbag with a long strap, so that the handbag is near your waist.

There are many pick pockets and bagsnatchers out there looking for an easy target, always have your bag under your arm and keep the bag opening against your body.
